Today...,..

Finishing all of Thursday classes I went Andy's going away dinner at the Thai restaurant. I met Andy, Jeremy and Chile. We chat and ate food. That would be all for Andy's going away dinner. Actually, I wanted to play pool with them, but they left the restaurant. I came home and changed clothes to go to the HYPER gym. While I was working out, I focused on biceps and triceps. I spent one and half hours at the gym. When I was coming back home, I wanted to drink beer and play pool at Q, which is a billiard place. However, I should have brought some people to play pool with me. I called Sin-Hyo and he wanted to play pool with me. By the way, he found his girlfriend, Amanda, three month ago. Sin-Hyo said he was going to bring his girlfriend to Q. I welcome to see those guys. I arrived at Q around 11 p.m. Sin-Hyo didn't come to Q yet. I was talking to Q's front girl, who looks the middle of thirties. She is only one year older than me, 29. Finally, Sin-Hyo and Amanda came to Q. She seemed to be a cool person. I asked her several questions, but some of them she couldn't answer to me. She is not interested in music, politics, tv shows and so on. By the way, her major is Korean and English. That's awesome. I heard somewhere women's brain are smarter than men's brain. As a result, they could learn their second language faster than men. We played pool, and I taught them an American style pool (I just call it) and the 9 ball game. They enjoyed playing it. Most of games I won. This is my last result of the third week of the 2008 spring semester. I HAVE TO MAKE AN AWESOME PLANE FOR EXAM 1.

busy busy busy

This week is the third of the spring semester. My intensive writing class is killing me. I should have taken this course before. In face, it helps my reading abilities. When I overcome fucking grammar problems? Every time I write something and I have to check this something from Rebecca. Sometimes, she is bitching me a lot because I didn't make a good sentence for English people. Also, I have words problems. Most of time I check words because I want to know its parts of speech. For this reasons, I spend time to look up dictionaries. When I would be a good writer? I just want to be a fine writer. This is my mission that I have to figure out these problems' solutions. Next week which is the fourth of the spring semester has first two exams and a paper. Tonight, I am going to finish chapter two of an astronomy book and read a history book. I have to read two chapters of the history book. It is almost 70 pages. Shit. That's lot. What about differential equation class? To be honest, I haven't read a differential equation text book since last Friday. At that day, I was studying in the main library entire the day. This is my last semester so that I need to get A grades all of my classes. By the way, I found an attractive woman in my Judo class. I didn't ask her name last time. I might not have chance to talk her tomorrow. Even If I have chance to talk her, what should I say? This is the dumbest things. Be a man! Don't worry about her rejection. I just ask her name, age, a school year and so. I just ask her funder mental question. Let's go home and eat Korean food. Then I am going to read books. Make a plan!!

my computer is infected by a virus

Someone had used my own property whatever they want. For that reason, my mac computer is infected by a virus. One of virus symptoms is that the computer speed is decreasing. I have to repair it. Before I go to bed, I want to talk about a movie, Cloverfield. I watched it last night and was dizzy while I was watching. This movie is shot by a camcorder so that it looks unprofessional, unfortunate. I expected watching it, but it gave me a little bit disappointment. Eleven days from now, the Lost season four is going to play on TV. I look forward to watch this one. People who have watched Lost already know Kate and Jack are rescued somehow, and Jack wishes he wants to be crashed on an airplane so that he goes back to the island. Why does he want to go back to the island? According to Jack, he, Kate and maybe other people were not supposed to leave the island. Non-sense. I have to read several short stories and write about it. My eyes are tired.

cold

Several days ago, I went to a math class and was infected by cold virus. One of students, who was in class, cough at me. At the same day, I went to a HYPER gym, as usually, and I was kind of cold. The next day, morning, I had a headache.  Since three days ago, the weather has been colder and colder, which is around -17 Celsius. Every single class are so far so good except a Judo class. I want to learn the Judo. However, I was always dizzy while I was warming up my body. For example, we have to practice of a body rolling way, which makes our body to reduce impact from the ground. I have to be rolling several times during the Judo class. I may be getting old, 30 year-old. haha. Wait a second, I am 28 in the U.S. Anyways, I have dizzy stuff. I have to read several books and study math this weekend. Monday is day off. Tonight, I am going to see a movie, Cloverfield, produced by J.J. Abraham who is a director of LOST. I should not expect this movie because expectation makes me more disappointment. I love Lost, the ABC television show. J.J Abraham who is a genius of a storytelling. As unusually, Lost can't be predicted a next episode by audience. Also, if someone doesn't watch a previous episode, he or she would not understand it what is going on. I will see what an American monster is.

Character

I have an assignment of my English class. Before I am going to write a paper, I need to summarize characters.

Stereoyped characters are called stock charcters. Most writers of the literray story, attempt to create characters who strike us not as stereotype but as unique individuals.

According to the English novelist, E.M. Forester, characters may seem flat or round, depdnding on whether a writer sketches or sculpts them. So what is the flat and round charcters?

Flat characters are have only one outstanding trait or feature, or at most a few distinguishing marks. But flat characters need not be stock characters.

Round characters present us with more facets-that is, thier authors portary them in greater depth and in more generous detail. Such a round character may appear to us only as he appears to the other charcters in the story.

Flat characters tend to stay the sam throughout a story, but round characters often change - learn or become enlightened, grow or deteriorate.

Some critics call a fixed character static; a changing one, dynamic.

The idea of the gratuitous act is a deed without an cause or motive.

The 2nd week.

I have been tired since the 2008 spring semester. Every single day, I have to read several books. Also, I should exercise four days a week at a gym. By the way, I lost belly fat little bit. I can feel it that looks good. Haha. I think I should go to bed by 2 a.m. Then, I am going to the Swain library in the morning for studying. Confidence! Don't forget it.

The first week of the 2008 spring semester

I spent over $400 for textbooks. This means I have to read many books. An Intensive writing course makes me sleepy. My eyes are easily tired while I read textbooks. I need to be the best in my classes. Money problems! Living in America is totally expensive.

Drop and Add

Drop classes and add classes make me sick. I am super tired and sick of the changing classes. I went to an Intensive writing class, which is about 1800's British fictions, and worry about this course. But I have to take this course so that I am going to graduate the school. I have a one more class, Judo, in the HPYER gym. The weather is warm but is nasty that's people said. Though, I like it.

The New Semester and Money

Well, I want to say that textbooks are super expensive. For example, a differential equation textbook, mathematics, is $160 for a new one and is $120 for used one. That's ridiculous prices. This textbooks are also sold on online, they are between $60 and &80, including a shipping cost. Online purchasing books are much cheaper than regular bookstores. As I mentioned yesterday, I don't want to spend money for textbooks. I haven't paid a school tuition. My dad called me today and he is worrying about money. I sorry for my parents but I have to finish school. In four month, I will graduate Indiana University. definitely, I thank Rebecca for everything. In this semester, I must get A grades for all my classes.

The day before the 2008 spring semester

Although I didn't pay the school tuition, I am going to a class tomorrow. I called my father, who didn't answer the phone. I should call him tomorrow that a Korean time will be at night. Bloomington is no more a ghost town. I saw a tons of bitches on the campus, library and in the gym. I haven't bought textbooks yet. To be honest I don't want to buy all of my textbooks because they are fucking expensive. Plus, if I sell these textbooks at bookstores, IU or TIS bookstores, they don't pay to me as same as original textbooks price. For example, I paid $100 for an astronomy textbook. Then, if I sell this textbook at the bookstores, they only give $12 or 15 to me. Therefore, I don't want to buy textbooks, and I am going to sell my old textbooks to ebay.com or amazon.com, online auction websites. Tomorrow I have a class, which is a differential equation class, and don't have any class the rest of the day. I am going to clean my room and am going to study of English. Also, I probably go to the HYPER gym during the lunch time. In the 2008 spring semester, I need to get weights, it is not fats, and am going to get lean muscles.

Skinny boys

Most Asian boys, who are in Bloomington, are not interested in a weight training. I saw only one, who is big, worked out in the lifting room, the HYPER gym. Actually, I started to study at Indiana University with him. I guess he has exercised for awhile. I have exercised since 2006 summer. However, most Asian dudes are skinnies and are not interested in a workout. Some of them play basketball in the HPYER or SRSCE gym. Some of them also come down to the lifting room, HYPER, and are being gays. They think they have some muscles so that they try to show their skinny armies. Although I am an Asian dude, 28, I have a good body. Though, I am still struggling to make awesome abs. Today is the two days before the 2008 spring semester. I look forward this semester, which is my last semester in the U.S. Time is almost up and I have to go to the real jungle.

Oldboy part 2

Dae-Soo who starts to revenge fights all of his enemies. He has got information of the main antagonist, Woo-Jin Lee. Woo-Jin and Dae-Soo went to same school so they are an oldboys. Anyways, Dae-Soo saw that Woo-Jin and his sister were loving each other in school when they were high school students. Before Dae-Soo left his home town to go to Seoul, he told that he saw making love to his best friend. It was incest. Then he is going to revenge Woo-Jin, who is an owner of the Evergreen, a wood company, for his past 15 years. However, Dae-Soo is told that he had sex with his daughter. He didn't know his lover who was his daughter. Dae-Soo is extreme shocked. Even he wants Woo-Jin to keep his secretes. Then he cuts his tongue because Woo-Jin said, "You too much talk." Dae-Soo, definitely, doesn't want his daughter to know, Dae-Soo is her father. For this reasons, he cuts his tongue by himself. Also, Woo-Jin is killed himself after he is thinking of the last memory of his sister. Dae-Soo wants to erase his old memories, a monster memory. Then he was lost his memories and met his daughter as his lover. That is the end of Oldboy. This movie is based on a Japanese cartoon, the Oldboy.
What did I do today? I was supposed to go to HYPER, but I just watched a bunch of clips on youtube. Then I did a setup in the living room. I took a nap and studied a little bit. When Rebecca came home, he had dinner at Oppie Tyler, a restaurant, on Walnut street. After having dinner, we went to Plan9, a DVD story, for renting DVDs. I couldn't find a good movie. I wanted to see Residency Evil 3, which is a zombie movie, but someone already rented it. Then we went to play pool at Q. I called Masa to play pool with us. When he went to Q, Rebecca and Masa tried me to be eliminated. It worked. I lost all of games. We played almost two hours, and I came home with Rebecca. Tomorrow I am going to call my parents for school tuitions. Also, I am going to wake up at 8 to go to HPHER and am going to study English and Mathematics. Plus, I am going to research of an interracial marriage.

Oldboy

Masa had a free coupon of Papa Johnson Pizza. When he called me, I was in the main library for learning English. Today I studied phrases, verbs, and nouns. I should be more spend time to study English in sever days. Masa picked me up and we went to a Papa Johnson store on Walnut st. We ordered a pizza, and a clerk of Papa Johnson said we had to wait for twenty minutes. Masa suggested me to rent some movies at Plan9, a dvd and video store on Walnut st. He wanted to see a movie, Residency Evil 3, but someone already rented it. We were still looking for good movies. Finally, I suggested to watch a Korean movie, Oldboy. We rented it and picked up a pizza. Then we came to my home while Rebecca had chanted in her room. We ate pizza and watched Oldboy. Masa and I were still starving so cooked Korean noodles. While we watched the movie, I heard the southern accent of South Korea. I haven't heard the Korean accent for awhile. Anyways, the movie which story is strong and awesome was interesting to us. I like Rebecca and Masa because they'd love to see Korean movies. Most of American people, who are rednecks, are not interested in watching forging movies. Masa saw most Korean movies which published in the U.S. He knows Korean cultures a better than Americans.
Let's talk about the movie. Oh, Dae-Soo who is the main character is kidnapped by someone, who covers his face by an umbrella. Then he had been prisoned to a small room for fifteen years. While he had been there, he had learned many things, love, revenge, violence and so on, in the small room. After 9 years, he said he could be fine to live in there. While he had been there, he didn't know that why he was kidnapped for 15 years. After 15 years, he is just out of there and was on the top of a building, where he was kidnapped 15 years ago. Then his new journey has begun to found out who kidnapped him. Dae-Soo meets a girl, Mido who is a Susi chef, and are going to fall in love each other. According to Lao-Tzu, a Chinese philosopher, a Journey of million miles begins with a single step. Dae-Soo has a piece of information of a evidence, dumplings. While he had been in the small room, he had eaten numerous dumplings for 15 years. He can't forget tasty of the dumplings. Finally, he found the tasty dumpling in Ja-Chon-Ryoung, a Chinese restaurant. Also, he found who ordered that Chinese food. So, he followed a Chinese restaurant delivery to find out a location of the building that he had been there for 15 years.

To be continue...

I need to go to bed.

European countries ban cafe smoking

Several european countries, including France, German, England and so on, don't allow people to smoke in bars, clubs and several public areas. I am a non-smoker but know what smokers want it. I had smoked cigarettes for 10 years although I hated stinky smell of cigarettes. I used to wash my fingers right after smoking. While I served in the Korean army, I had stopped smoking. One day, I was really sick and couldn't handle my body in the army. Even though I was super sick, I wanted to smoke cigarettes. Then I smoked it which tasty was nasty to me. I tried to be adopted that tasty but I discarded them. I know smokers' feeling while they couldn't smoke cigarettes. I am sorry to smokers. However, those smokers should be accepted to a new law in Europe. In Korea, most males are smokers. Some people want to stop smoking but it is very difficult to stop smoking. There are several reasons that smokers can't stop smoking. Most reason is a social behavior. For example, James meets his friends or co-workers who are usually smokers. When they hang out in a pub or a club, those guys are going to drink and smoke. All of James' friends are smoking and James is isolated by his friends. What a bummer! James should join to his friends. As a result, James starts to smoke cigarette with them, instead of stop smoking. Some people say that they don't want to stop smoking because it is good for them and is not necessary to stop smoking. They can smoke whatever they want it. However, they should be concerned with their health risk. Moreover, they should be more concerned about non-smokers, including families. I don't have to make them to stop smoking, but they should be concerned about their health and families.

New Year's Day

The weather is cold the first day in 2008. I sent several messages, the greeting of 2008, to my friends. Andy and Ashley are going to move to Chicago this week. Everyone left Bloomington for their future careers. I happy to hear that they found jobs in Chicago. I should be more concerned about a job. I am working on it. What did I do today?  I woke up around 9 a.m. although I set two alarms, a clock and cell phone,  at 7:15.  It didn't help me to wake up at 7:15. Because of the surfing of the Internet, I didn't go to bed early. Last night I downloaded two files of making abs strategies. Most abs strategies materials point health diet. However, health diet means that buy good food as usually expensive. I don't want to loose my muscle and wight. I only want to loose my body fat. Abs workouts definitely promotes to burn belly fat. At the same time, health food acetate to loose body fat. Finally, cardio workouts are going to eliminate bad things from our bodies. So, I went to the HYPER gym. I made super hardcore sets while I did a workout. My body was complete tired, though, I could feel that fat was burned. I was at the gym for three hours and came back home. I studied a little bit and took a nap. That was my first day of 2008.

Tomorrow, I must wake up at 7:15 and eat breakfast. Then I am going to HPYER before 9.
